 Tips for future couples: "When it comes to photography the best tip we can give a future bride is to connect with their wedding photographer. Establishing a two way communication with your photographer will allow for you and your fiance to feel comfortable throughout the entire wedding process. This will also open the door to speak to your photographer about your wedding day timeline and other important topics such as having a first look and photographing certain details. Having great communication will streamline the entire wedding process.

Every session or wedding I have ever photographed has NEVER been the same and I just love that! "My tip to couples is to stay true to yourself. Don't let all these over the top weddings on TV, magazines, and Pinterest bring you into wedding debt. Prioritize what you want the most (photography, catering...etc) and budget efficiently. Now as a rule of thumb, when pricing with any wedding vendor, don't tell the vendor you don't want to pay an arm and a leg. Have a set number planned so they can help you. If you feel too overwhelmed and still unsure of what to do, hire a wedding planner. They can help make things go smoothly and also help you stay on budget as much as possible. Even though we all work in the wedding industry, we aren't miracle budget workers. Happy wedding planning!"

Tip from a wedding pro:
"If you are considering doing a first look at all, do it! The moment you will have between the two of you will be just as magical as when he sees you coming down the aisle for the first time. First looks are also very intimate and sometimes grooms are more willing to let down their guards a bit without all of your guests watching them. They can also allow you to finish all your bridal party photos before the ceremony, free up time for more couples’ portraits and get you dancing at the reception a bit earlier! I have never had a couple regret doing one and your groom will still be elated as you walk down that aisle, I promise!"
