​A year ago we watched our first couple at Hawthorn Hills say “I Do” under our hand crafted arbor and dance the night away with family & friends. Although the Grand Opening of our Krum – Denton area wedding venue did not actually happen until October of 2016, this couple was too sweet to not be part of their big day. It was magical and we absolutely loved celebrating with them and their families. A summer wedding complete with sunflowers and a bible guest book was the perfect way to open our doors.

​The dedication of our team and the heart behind our venue shone from day one and we often use our first wedding as not only an example but reminder of what our focus is. Every member of our team {and family at that} came to help make sure our couple was taken care of. If you’ve never thrown sod – let us tell you! It is one way to get a workout, not to mention when you’re placing three tuck loads. That’s what happens when you have a small business & the landscaper can’t work fast enough to make things happen. Your team jumps in with both feet to make a dream a reality because at the end of the day we will always go above and beyond to take care of our clients. 

The hand crafted arbor was drawn by one of our owners- a unique design with small accents and details unlike any other. Each cut, curve and interlocking piece was made by the same owner and was brought onsite to assemble. This arbor stands tall as a beautiful focal point on our hillside courtyard and a reminder of the dedication and attention to detail our venue team commits to each couple. The chandelier was a gift from our first couple and there isn’t a day we look at it and wish them the best. Getting to see couples say their vows and begin their marriage under the same chandelier is such a blessing.
Hawthorn Hills Ranch is different from most other venues in North Texas in the service we offer. To us it’s not a simple rental, it’s the opportunity to make your dreams come true and be a part of such a wonderful beginning. Our team is trained and focus on our couples from the packages we offer to the standards we set. Family owned and operated we listen to our couples suggestions, requests and dreams to constantly improve. Each member of our venue and team has a passion for what we do – for the service we provide which helps build each other up but most importantly helps us offer the best for all our clients. We love supporting our couples and love the community we have been placed in. Although, it’s safe to say if we never have to lift a roll of sod again it would be more than alright.
