How many guests can Hawthorn HillS host?
From intimate events of only 30 up to 230 seated indoors - that's with room for dance floor, buffet, bar and more of course!
Our ceremony site seats the same amount.

How long do we have access to the venue?
Our standard wedding venue rental is 13 hours from 11 am - Midnight.
We do also offer limited half day venue rentals (8 hours) and micro-weddings for our couples that have an elopement vision in mind.
You may add-on additional access time to start your set up or hair and make up earlier as well.

- Outdoors: ceremony areas including our main courtyard that sits hillside, strung lights, nature trails under the trees and along the creek, and multiple water features

Is Hawthorn Hills an animal/pet friendly venue?
Our team loves animals! We’ve had many furry friends on site for ceremony and cocktail hours and would love you to incorporate yours.
Just be sure to plan for them to have a stress free day too - they will need a companion by their side, to remain leashed and cannot enter the building.

Are there hotels nearby/transportation?
So many hotel options! Within 10 minutes there are 9 options as well as VRBO/ Air BNB for more intimate options.
Many transportation companies service our area as well with options from limos and cars to large passenger coach buses.

Do I need to hire security?
Security is already built into all of our packages so don’t worry about an added cost here!

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?
Hawthorn Hills venue is designed so all your family and friends can celebrate with you.
Indoors you will find no stairs or split-levels to navigate, ensuring everyone can go into all rooms.
Outdoors we have a sidewalk that sways down the hillside all the way to our main ceremony site which also has plenty of room to navigate around.

What is parking like?
Parking is free, on-site and (the best part) tucked behind the venue closest to the road. Which means NO accidental drive-bys, or last minute guests being noticed while you’re saying your “I Dos”.
To keep with our sustainable and nature focused values our drives and parking lots are composed of crushed asphalt - don’t worry, it’s not dusty like gravel roads and it compacts for a much more even surface than gravel rocks.

Do you have payment plans?
When you book with us your package total will be divided into 4 equal payments. The first retains your date and makes it official. The other 3 are staggered between booking and your date.
If your date is less than 6 months away you may have less payments due to the timeline.

Is there a fee for bringing in your own vendors?
Absolutely not! Simply have them send us their COI and they’ll be all set.

Does the venue provide additional decor?
We do! Since we keep planning simple at Hawthorn Hills our clients always have access to our decor items at no additional cost.
The venue rental includes two moveable backdrops:
- Custom black barn doors
- Boxwood wall that is reversible with faux white washed stone on the other side
We also have table decor, and other items these include:
- Vases for floating candles or flowers
- Lanterns in different styles and colors
- Wood slices
- Signage
- Pedestal vases with arrangements
and more!

For our celebrations that plan to serve alcohol there are a few things to know.
1 - An approved, licensed and insured bartending company must be used. Don’t worry though! Our inclusive packages already have it taken care of, and for our venue rental package we have a pre-approved list to keep it simple or can assist with scheduling them for you.
2 - You are welcome to provide what you would like served. Please keep in mind that shots, “neat” or doubles are not allowed but the bartenders will gladly mix you a cocktail to enjoy.
3 - All alcohol must be served by the bartender.
We have ice onsite as well as large coolers so you won’t have to worry about that either!
