Do wedding professionals "sweat the small stuff"?Wedding planning... the reality of your wedding dreamsOh wedding planning... Let the dreams come true.
With a digital world only taps away it’s so overwhelming to know where to start. Talk about making wedding planning even more stressful!
A few years ago I helped (with my sisters of course) my brother with his and it was amazing. So you got engaged! How exciting, take it in and soak up all of the excitement with your new fiancé! Now it’s time to share the news with your closest family, and friends, and YELL IT TO THE WORLD! But wait… is there a correct way to do this? Should you call family and friends first or should you just post right away on social media? We unpack all of these questions and more! Should you post on social right away or share the info with those you’re closest to first? I personally wanted to share the news with family and close friends first. I wanted to show them that we cared about them by giving them a call or sending a text and/or picture specifically to them!
Once you do finally bite the bullet and share the news with the internet, what specifically should you (and more importantly) should you NOT share? We have some words of advice/recommendations below!
If you're reading this it is SUPER exciting because we know that means you are either at or starting to think about this amazing stage in life - becoming engaged.
Are you ready to be engaged? Time to go over all things ring related! How to present the ringThe proposal should totally be a fun surprise but the step in the relationship totally not. That means you have a window of opportunity to easily be honest (in a light way of course) on what is truly important to you. If you are like Jenna and heirlooms are important to you you can listen in to her personal experience on how not only she but her family communicated that to Hunter before he proposed.
If you are going to be buying a ring - WOW! Did you even realize before looking into it that there are so so many options? It's quickly overwhelming we get it so let's cover the basics.
Holidays are fast approaching and the excitement is already filling my house - along with the stress and pressure. Anyone else feel like Holiday’s bring such a delicate balance of avoiding burnout, emotions and family dynamics while also enjoying the moments that come along with it?
As newlyweds, our first holiday season together was so exciting - we were lucky to not feel stressed too much but as our family has grown, our kids get older and our partners and siblings life stages change it has gotten harder and harder. Hosting holidays can be a whole new level of excitement and stress, but either way one thing is certain and that is the amount of work, planning and prep that goes into planning family holidays increases dramatically. This blog we are going to cover all the hosting basics from choosing the location, menu, ideas, tips and (because we like to cover everything) a week of timeline that breaks down common tasks you want to do. If you want the real info to dig into you'll want to download the free 14 page guide - with examples, and week of timeline.
From wedding vows to celebrating a growing family we love to support, cheer and watch our couple's milestones.Holidays with a little one is SO exciting - especially for baby’s first holidays. What most new parents don’t realize though is the list of items that you have to pack up and take with you when visiting family for holidays. If you grabbed our FREE holiday guide then we shared more details on that for you and in this blog are going to give you the list we promised. As a mom of three I understand so well how each time you pack can be tedious trying to not forget any items - and it always seems like one thing gets left behind. I could tell you so many stories about forgotten pacifiers, running out of wipes and being stuck in dirty shirts. If this lists helps you skip any one of those situations then you my friend are winning! What should you not forget to load before hitting the family holidays? |
