"My name is Chevy, owner and founder of Chevy Chey Photography.
I currently reside in Denton, Texas but I was born and raised in Burkburnett, Texas. Never in a million years did I ever think or dream of becoming a professional photographer, but I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason.

Now to the super fun stuff about me!
I’m your small town girl with the taste of Southern hospitality at its best. I’m also a huge fan of being unique. Every session or wedding I have ever photographed has NEVER been the same and I just love that!

I am in love with the sweetest man on the planet and I have tons of nicknames ranging from Chev all the way to Camaro. I mean, when you have a car name, you just roll with the fun. Last but not least, I really enjoy making new friends! Every session isn’t just a session to me, it’s a new friendship that’s being formed. So all in all, I’m really looking forward to meeting you in the near future and hoping to gain a new friendship."

"My tip to couples is to stay true to yourself. Don't let all these over the top weddings  on TV, magazines, and Pinterest bring you into wedding debt. Prioritize what you want the most (photography, catering...etc) and budget efficiently. Now as a rule of thumb, when pricing with any wedding vendor, don't tell the vendor you don't want to pay an arm and a leg. Have a set number planned so they can help you. If you feel too overwhelmed and still unsure of what to do, hire a wedding planner. They can help make things go smoothly and also help you stay on budget as much as possible. Even though we all work in the wedding industry, we aren't miracle budget workers. Happy wedding planning!"
