When we first heard of Hollis we immediately looked up her business and fell in love with her stunning art work. We loved her work so much we had to share it with all our North Texas brides! Her work is so incredible and needs to be showcased on the wedding day, even if it is just for the amazing photos.

With that being said, meet Hollis! She is the owner and mastermind behind Hands of Hollis. She creates beautiful paper goods not only for weddings but for anything that you could possibly imagine!! We got to talk to Hollis about how she started her business and what motivated her the most. She started Hands of Hollis back in June of 2016 and explains it as a whirlwind of fun ever since it’s started. Becoming a mother and homemaker, though extremely fulfilling, she spent to long feeling detached from her creative roots. She used this detachment as a fuel to drive her business to the success it is today. Hollis explained that she was worried that she might lose the skills she worked so hard to gain, and she wouldn’t have anything to show for it when she returned to work. Then she started thinking; "Maybe I just wanted something that was all mine. Something that would help me create goals outside of parenthood and give me a different kind of satisfaction. The kind you get from doing things for yourself.”

When we asked Hollis what she loves most about her work she explained that there were two things that she loved the most about what she does. “I get to explore my art every single day!” She loves to push boundaries and design what her creative mind feels is right, and she gets to share her art with everyone! “But my absolute fave part of this whole adventure is the people. The amazing creatives I’ve collaborated with to build my business have been astounding and more than I ever dreamed possible.” She has gained so much knowledge, inspiration, and motivation to never stop what she loves doing.
